The students of Moldova Bible Seminary are involved in regular ministry throughout the year. As part of their education they also travel on international mission trips during the summer and winter breaks. This summer the geography of the outreach of MBS has expanded to include India.
Jeanya T. is a senior at MBS and during her years of studies has travelled across Moldova, Transnistria and Russia participating in ministry work. Her focus was children and teens. In 2014 after one of the trips to Russia she learned about a ministry in India that was started by Eastern Europeans and includes several orphanages. For a year she prayed about going to serve with them. As a result Jenya has joined together with a group of five young people from Moldova and traveled to serve the Indian orphans for a month. |
Together with a team from Moldova, Jenya has been teaching children in four orphanages and also participated in an outreach to children in slums of Deli. This was a life-changing experience. Upon her return Jenya has shared that she is now considering a long-term commitment to the country of India and the children she fell in love with.
